Refund Policy
EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediate upon purchase.
All transactions made on the Black Smoke store are for intangible digital goods. Because these perks are applied to your account immediately upon purchase or within a short automated window, they are considered "consumed" and are therefore non-refundable.
1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- No Returns: We do not offer refunds for digital items, subscriptions, or ranks.
- Buyer's Remorse: Refunds will not be granted for accidental purchases or if you simply change your mind after the rank has been delivered.
- Unused Time: For subscription-based tiers, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused time if you decide to stop playing before your month is over.
2. BAN FORFEITURE
Maintaining access to your purchased perks is contingent upon following the server rules. If you are temporarily or permanently banned from the Black Smoke servers for violating our community standards (e.g., toxicity, cheating, griefing), you forfeit your right to any refund for active packages or subscriptions.
3. SERVER AVAILABILITY & CLOSURE
Ranks and perks are tied specifically to the continued operation of the Black Smoke project.
- Uptime: No refunds or compensation will be issued for server downtime caused by maintenance, technical glitches, DDoS attacks, or third-party outages (Steam/Pavlov).
- Project Termination: In the event that the server is permanently shut down, discontinued, or undergoes a total reset/rebrand, all purchases are terminated. You agree that you are not entitled to a refund if the service ceases to exist.
4. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES
Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute through your bank or payment processor is a violation of this policy.
- Blacklist Policy: Any account associated with a chargeback will be permanently and non-appealably banned from the Black Smoke community and store.
- Legal Evidence: We reserve the right to provide this Refund Policy and your connection logs as evidence to the payment processor to contest fraudulent disputes.
If you encounter a technical issue where your purchase was not delivered automatically, please do not contact your bank. Instead, open a Support Ticket in our Discord server for manual manual assistance.
